Welcome
On behalf of our team of caregivers and support staff, thank you for considering our healthcare center. We offer a full range of medical services to meet the individual needs of our residents, including short-term rehabilitative services and long-term skilled care. Working with the resident’s physician, our staff – including medical specialists, nurses, nutritionists, dietitians and social workers – establishes a comprehensive treatment plan intended to restore you or your loved one to the highest practicable potential. Our goal is to provide quality care in a comfortable, compassionate environment, demonstrating on a daily basis our guiding principle of providing Quality Through People.

Overview
The Tunnell Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare
accommodates 180 residents. We are dedicated to short-term complex medical and rehabilitative care. Using a holistic care management approach, we work with residents who have suffered debilitating injury or illness, and who need comprehensive nursing and rehabilitation services to achieve their highest practicable level of functional ability and independence. Our services include:- 24-hour nursing care provided by highly skilled multi-lingual nursing staff
- complex medical care that includes IV and infusion therapy, pain management, enteral and parenteral nutrition, ostomy and tracheostomy care, complex diabetes management and complex wound care
- daily inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation provided as needed by multi-lingual physical, occupational and speech therapists
- social services including counseling, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, family conferences and discharge planning
- therapeutic recreation developed and provided by art and music therapists
We are certified for Medicare and are contracted with many managed care insurance providers. Parking is available and free to visitors.
